Some of our kindergarten students took part in cheerleading during enrichment on Wednesday afternoon.
Friday was pajama day at school. We had fun listening to David Goss tell us stories and had a dance party in our pjs. We had a great time skating on Thursday at the River Valley Arena. Thanks to everyone who came out to help tie skates. Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday by dressing as our favourite character. We read Dr. Seuss books, watched a Dr Seuss video and even did some Dr. Seuss art activities. We have a lot of talent in kindergarten! The kindergarten students danced to the Sid Shuffle at the talent show yesterday. We also had several other kindergarten performers. Bella did a dance, Maryn played the piano, and Hannah, Shauna, Addison, Katie, and Alessia all sang songs. Everyone did amazing!
This is a reminder about skating tomorrow morning, March 3rd, at the River Valley Arena. We will arrive at the rink around 9am. If you are able to come help tie skates please meet us there. Children must have skates and a helmet to go on the ice.
Also, if you have an extra pair of skates or a helmet and wouldn't mind sharing them please send them to school with your child or bring them to the rink. Thanks! K Team |
